Having opened Fritton Lake Country Park in 1971, it is with a great deal of pride and pleasure that I see Hugh continuing with the development of Fritton Lake with the opening of this charming boutique hotel. It is a wonderful old building that has been beautifully restored to the great credit of all those who worked with Hugh on the project, most notably our eldest daughter Isabel who is responsible for the interior design.

Above all ‘Fritton House’ as it is now known is in an unrivalled setting in this part of East Anglia and I feel confidant that it’ is a modern estate business with a bright future.
